When I was four years old, a sitting U.S. president gave me a pen in exchange for a picture of an Easter egg I'd made him. I like to think that was America's official way of saying, "Please turn to other art forms. Drawing isn't for you." So, I became a writer. Eventually. After many years of doing other things: marketer, yoga teacher, product manager, cook...
Now, I live in a big city where I make word stuffs for brands and other people. Joining Medium is an attempt to force myself to write more in my own voice, which is absolutely terrifying as it turns out.
I tell stories and write essays from my perspective. Most of them are, at least in some parts, silly. I do not give advice or provide life hacks. As an adult woman who gets entirely too excited about car washes, I'm not sure what I'd teach you anyway.
